5K Run / Walk for Clean Water 2026

The race.

The 5K Run/Walk for Clean Water takes place November 14, 2026, in Salisbury, NC, benefiting the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Global Water Ministry. Participants can choose a 5K road course (3.1 miles through the Grace Ridge neighborhood starting and finishing at Grace Lutheran Church) or a half-mile fun run on church property. Race-day check-in runs from 7:00 to 8:20 a.m., with registration fees of $30 for the 5K and $5 for the fun run. The 5K awards cash prizes to top three overall finishers by gender and masters category, plus medals and beanies to age-group winners across nine divisions. Fun run participants receive finisher's medals, and the top three finishers (ages 8 and under) earn cash prizes. All registered participants receive long-sleeved t-shirts if registered by October 31, plus hushpuppies at the finish.
