About the race
The race.
The 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Cool Springs in Velpen, Indiana. Participants can choose from a 5K run, 10K trail run, or 10K trail and ruck run, with age divisions for runners 17 and under and 13 and older. Check-in opens at 7:45 a.m. EST, with the 10K trail run and ruck starting at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K run beginning at 8:15 a.m. Pre-registration by July 18 includes a t-shirt; registration after July 19 does not. Awards and refreshments will be provided to finishers. All proceeds benefit the police departments of Huntingburg and Jasper, Indiana.
