About the race
The race.
The 6th Annual Women in STEM Walkathon takes place in October 2026, organized by HBCU STEMER to support scholarships and career resources for women in STEM. Participants complete a virtual 1-mile challenge during October, with in-person meetups offered in Atlanta on October 3rd, 4th, and 24th. Funds raised benefit scholarships for Black women in STEM fields.
