8th Annual One King Sports 5K & Kids Race 2026

The race.

One King Sports hosts its 8th Annual 5K & Kids Race on May 2, 2026, in Clarksburg, WV, with courses on the VA Trail and Harrison County Rail Trail. The 5K covers 3.1 miles on an out-and-back course starting and finishing at Freedom Shelter, while a separate kids race (200 yards for ages 8 and under) follows immediately after. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m. Entry is $30 through April 27, 2026, or $35 on race day. Registered runners receive t-shirts if registered by the April 5 t-shirt deadline. Age-group awards include trophies for first place and leather patches for second and third in ten age categories (14 & Under through 70+), plus overall trophies for top three males and females. A 6.2-mile course option is also available. Kids race finishers receive One King patches and t-shirts. Team awards for fastest and largest teams will be announced on social media.
