The race.
The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K takes place September 12, 2026, in Yuma, Arizona. Participants can choose to run, ruck, or walk the 5K distance. A rucking division is available, featuring weighted rucksack carries based on special forces training methods. Registered GORUCK division participants receive an exclusive patch. The event honors 9/11 heroes and benefits veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and families of the fallen. All ages and fitness levels are welcome.
