9.11 Remembrance Run - Walk - Ruck 2026

The race.

Weber City's first 9.11 Remembrance Run-Walk-Ruck takes place September 5, 2026, starting at 9 AM at Weber City Elementary School. Participants choose to run, walk, or ruck the 3.43-mile course, which loops through nearby residential streets. The distance honors the 343 firefighters lost on September 11, 2001. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, and first-place overall male and female participants will be recognized. Registration is capped at 150 participants; packet pickup occurs Friday, September 4 from 4–7 PM at The Yard Strength And Training, or race morning from 7:30–8:45 AM at the school. One hundred percent of registration fees benefit the Weber City Fire Department's training and equipment needs.
