The race.
The 99th Annual Goguac Lake Swim takes place August 8, 2026, in Battle Creek, Michigan at Goguac Lake's Willard Beach. Swimmers can choose from three distances: a 200-yard short course for ages 16 and under, a 750-meter swim, or a 1.15-mile open water swim. Packet pickup runs from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m., with the short course starting at 8:00 a.m. and both longer distances starting at 8:30 a.m. Registration closes August 7 at 11:59 p.m., though same-day registration is available; those registering by July 21 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Event proceeds benefit adaptive swimming sponsorships.
