About the race
The race.
The 9th Annual Nashville Ostomy 5K takes place October 3, 2026, at Shelby Bottoms (Shelby Avenue & S. 20th Avenue). The event features a timed 5K run/walk covering three laps around Sevier Lake, a 1-mile children's fun run, and volunteer opportunities. Race day registration and packet pickup run from 10:00–10:30 a.m., with the run/walk starting at 11:00 a.m. and an awards ceremony at noon. Registration includes a t-shirt, bib with timing chip, and race swag bag; medals awarded to top finishers by gender and age group, plus separate awards for top male and female ostomates. All proceeds benefit United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Participants who fundraise $150 or more receive a refunded registration fee.
