The race.

A 5K walk takes place at Turner Park in Omaha, Nebraska on July 19, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. The event supports the Children's Nebraska Pediatric Oncology Department. Participants can complete the course on the park's 1/3 mile oval. After the walk, attendees enjoy free ice cream, kids' entertainment, and outdoor games as part of a family Ice Cream Day. A separate kids' walk is available for ages 1 to 15.
