Aberdeen Family YMCA Bull Run 2026

The race.

The Aberdeen Family YMCA Bull Run takes place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, offering six distances: a half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, 6.2 miles, 3.1 miles, and a 2-mile fun walk, plus a Munchkin Run for ages 3–12. The half marathon starts at 7:00 a.m., with the 10K and 5K beginning at 8:00 a.m.; registration opens at 6:30 a.m. at the YMCA Community Rooms. Aid stations line all routes, and refreshments are available at the finish. Half marathon finishers receive medals; overall male and female winners in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K receive shirts, and awards are given by age category (12 and under through 60+). Race proceeds benefit YMCA youth and family programs. Registration costs $20 for students 18 and under, $30 for adults 19 and older, or $70 for families through July 19; prices increase by $10 after that date.
