About the race
The race.
The Abominable Trail Race takes place November 14, 2026, at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Runners can choose from five distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, 30K, or virtual options in 5K, 15K, and 30K. The 30K course can be run individually or as a team relay with 2–4 members. All participants receive a race shirt, finisher's medal, professional chip timing, and a finish-line beverage. Top three finishers by gender earn awards in each distance category. Early packet pickup is available Friday, November 13, at Lake Geneva House of Music; day-of registration is also offered. Parking costs $10 cash per vehicle at House of Music, directly across from the venue.
