Adventure Awaits 5k 2026

The race.

The Adventure Awaits 5k takes place August 29, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Sayre, Pennsylvania, benefiting Scouting America's Great Falls Council. The event features a 3.1-mile run/walk starting at 8:30 am, a kids' fun run (approximately 0.25 miles) at 8:15 am for ages 2-10, and a trail and road course combination. Packet pickup occurs Friday, August 28 from 5:30–7:00 pm and race morning from 7:00–7:45 am. Early online registration through RunSignup costs $25 with a free race t-shirt if registered by August 1; day-of registration is $30 (cash or checks only). Awards are given for top finishers in men's and women's categories across eight age groups, plus overall male and female winners; all children in the kids' run receive prizes. Water stations and restrooms are available on course.
