About the race

The race.

The AERC Mileage Challenge invites riders to complete 100 miles at their own pace in a location of their choice during the 2026 challenge period. Participants must log their mileage after each ride, with no minimum or maximum daily distance requirement. All riders who complete 100 miles receive prizes, and the top five teams in both competitive and non-competitive categories by August 30, 2026, earn additional awards. Riders must maintain accurate mileage records and prioritize their horse's health and welfare throughout participation.
