The race.
AFNA Walk & Run takes place October 4, 2026, at Almaden Lake Park in San Jose, CA, with start and finish at the park. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K distance, running along creek trails on trail and bike paths. The event benefits the Assam Foundation of North America, a nonprofit serving since 1982 that supports mutual understanding between Assam and North America and funds social and educational projects. A celebration will be held at the finish line, and t-shirts are available for small children.
