The race.
The Akron Pickle Fest 5K takes place on August 9, 2026, in Downtown Akron, Ohio. The 5K race launches the Akron Pickle Fest festival. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers in men's and women's categories, plus top three finishers in age groups spanning 1–14 through 80+. A special run-with-your-dog division is offered. The Pickle Fest festival opens at 10:00 a.m. following the race awards ceremony.
