Akron Pride 5K 2026

The race.

The Akron Pride 5K takes place August 21, 2026, at 6:30 PM in downtown Akron, Ohio, with the start and finish on Main Street. Participants receive a finisher medal and t-shirt (sizes Youth Large through Adult 3XL available). Registration costs $30 if completed by June 15, increasing to $45 on race day. Packet pickup occurs Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Akron Art Museum, or Friday from 5:00 to 6:15 PM downtown. In-person awards include certificates and prizes for top three overall finishers by gender/non-binary category and top three finishers in each of nine age groups ranging from 9-under to 75-up. A virtual option is available through August 21, with packets mailed for an additional $5 fee.
