Albert Rivera Menudo Run 2026

The race.

The Albert Rivera Menudo Run, held August 22, 2026, in South El Monte, CA, features a 3.1-mile run, 6.2-mile run, and 800-meter kids' race organized by the National Latino Peace Officers Association-SGV. The event starts at Whittier Narrows Legg Lake Park. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each of 15 age divisions (0–14 through 90+) for the 3.1-mile and 6.2-mile distances; the top three teams also receive trophies. All participants receive a bowl of menudo, and participants 21 and older receive a complimentary beer with valid ID.
