The Altavista On Track Giblet Jog is a 5K race held November 26, 2026, in Altavista, Virginia. The course loops around English Park and its back section near the Staunton River. Online pre-registration costs $20 through November 5, $30 through November 22, and race-day registration is $45 from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. at the Booker Building. Early packet pickup occurs November 25–26 at the Altavista YMCA from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registering by November 12; additional shirts are available at the race for $10 while supplies last. Awards are presented after the race at the Booker Building for first through third overall in each gender and first place in age groups from 0–12 through 80+. Race proceeds support downtown economic revitalization efforts.
