The American Cancer Society Color Run takes place September 5, 2026, at Babcock Ranch in Punta Gorda, Florida, offering a 3.1-mile chip-timed run/walk and a 1-mile untimed fun walk. Both events start and finish at Founder's Square at 8 a.m. Registration costs $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1-mile event, with discounted pricing of $20 for participants 18 and under. Early packet pickup is available Friday, September 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; race-day registration and packet pickup occur from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. All finishers receive a medal, and awards are presented to top finishers in overall and age-group categories. Event shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by August 22. Post-race refreshments, water stations at the halfway point and finish line, and free parking near Founder's Square are provided. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
