About the race

The race.

The Amity Island 5K & Fun Run takes place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the Farm Institute in Katama, Edgartown, MA. The 5K race begins at 9:00 AM with a flat course starting and finishing at the Farm Institute, running along Katama Road and Edgartown Bay Road to South Beach. A 1/2K Fun Run for children 8 and under starts at 8:45 AM. Registration and bib pickup occur race morning from 7:30 to 8:45 AM. Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 400 registered runners. Proceeds benefit local charities and island youth.
