Among the Trees 2026

The race.

Among the Trees takes place October 31, 2026, in Dousman, Wisconsin, featuring 100K and 50K options on trails in the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest. The 100K starts at 6:00 AM with an 11:00 PM cutoff; the 50K starts at 8:00 AM with the same cutoff. Both races begin at DJ Mackie Campground and follow the Scuppernong and Ice Age trails, with the 50K turning around at Emma Carlin (31.1 miles) and the 100K continuing to Whitewater before returning (64.4 miles). Elevation gain is 6,493 feet for the 100K and 2,221 feet for the 50K. Aid stations stock water, Tailwind, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pickles, bananas, potato chips, and sour patch kids. Finishers receive wooden medals that can be branded on-site with optional finishing time engraving. Pacers may join 100K runners at or after the Whitewater turnaround.
