Asheville Craft Beer Half Marathon & 10K/5K 2026

The race.

The Asheville Craft Beer Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K takes place on August 29, 2026, in Asheville, NC, with races starting at 7:00 AM for the half marathon and 10K, and 7:05 AM for the 5K. All events begin and finish at Pack Square (80 Court Plaza). The half marathon covers 13.1 miles and the courses run through downtown Asheville, the Brewery District, River Arts District, along the French Broad River to Beaver Lake, past the Grove Park area, and return via Broadway Street. Finishers receive medals and shirts; the first 1,000 half marathon registrants also receive a pint glass and can coozie, plus free beer at the finish festival. An awards ceremony runs from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Packet pickup is Friday, August 28 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Asheville Brewing Company. Registration closes August 28 with a 2,500-participant cap and no race-day registration available.
