The race.
The AthHalf Half Marathon and AthFest Educates 5K takes place on October 10, 2026, in Athens, GA. Runners can choose between a 13.1-mile half marathon or a 5K distance. The half marathon course runs through historic districts, downtown, and the UGA campus, while the 5K covers downtown and the Boulevard neighborhood. Live music performances are featured along both courses. Race proceeds benefit AthFest Educates' music and arts education programs for local K–12 students.
