Atlanta 3k Dog Walk and Festival 2026

The race.

The Atlanta 3K Dog Walk and Festival takes place May 3, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Participants can choose from a 3K walk/run, 5K run/walk, 1K fun run, 1.86-mile option, or virtual 3K and 5K entries. The 3K begins at 8:30 AM with staggered wave starts of 15 dogs every 2 minutes, starting and finishing at Shirley Franklin Park. Along the course, dogs and handlers encounter optional bonding challenges at half-kilometer intervals. The festival features an agility obstacle course, dog treat vendors, and pup cups and doggie pancakes at the finish line. Packet pickup occurs Saturday, May 2, from 1–5 PM at Splootsville Pet Boutique, or race morning from 7:30–8:15 AM on-site. Registration closes Saturday at midnight; no race-day registration available.
