About the race
The race.
The ATSU Founders Day Race takes place on October 17, 2026, at 9 AM in Kirksville, Missouri. Participants can choose between a 3.25-mile run or a 1.2-mile run/walk, both starting and finishing at the ATSU Thompson Campus Center at 210 S. Osteopathy. Packet pickup is available Friday, October 16th from 12 PM to 8 PM, or race morning from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the same location. Top finishers in age group categories receive recognition and prizes. A free stretch clinic follows the race for recovery. All sponsorship proceeds benefit the Preferred Merchant Fund.
