The race.
B.I.R.R. Turkey Trot 5K takes place November 26, 2026, at Bay Front Park in Hilo, Hawaii, with a 7:30 a.m. start. This free event requests donations to benefit Hilo Food Bank and Malia Puka O Kalani food pantry. Monetary donations of $50 or more receive one of ten $20 gift certificates donated by KTA. Participants should arrive early to pick up bibs on race day, and food donations of sealed canned and boxed items are collected during the event.
