The Back Roads Half & 10K takes place on October 4, 2026, in Red Lodge, Montana. This event offers a 10K distance on a course combining gravel and paved sections with rolling terrain. The 10K course includes a steep hill in the first mile and finishes with a steep downhill trail section. Walkers are welcome in the 10K. Strollers are permitted but participants should be aware of the challenging terrain, particularly the steep downhill finish. Dogs are not allowed due to livestock along the route.
