Back the Blue 2026

The race.

Back the Blue Run takes place November 7, 2026, at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy, California, featuring a 1-mile fun run, 5K, 10K, and 5K ruck category. The course begins at the Ranch Side of Christmas Hill Park and follows the Uvas Creek Levee Trail, primarily on flat, paved terrain with marked turnaround points. All participants receive finisher medals, and race shirts are available for those who register by September 25. Packet pickup occurs Friday, November 6, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Gilroy Police Department parking lot, or Saturday morning starting at 7 a.m. at Christmas Hill Park. Early registration closes August 31, with final registration deadline October 2. The event celebrates community relationships with law enforcement and includes first responder displays, vendor booths, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
