Back2School 5K 2026

The race.

The Back2School 5K takes place on August 22, 2026, at Florence Family YMCA Friendship Park in Florence, SC, with an 8:00 a.m. start time. The flat, neighborhood course benefits the South Florence High School Cross Country Team. Packet pickup is available Friday, August 21, from 4–6 p.m. at the park's covered pavilion. T-shirts are guaranteed to participants who register by August 10. Overall and masters awards go to the top male and female finishers, with age-group awards for males and females in eight divisions ranging from 11 and under through 60+. Onsite refreshments include Kona Ice treats. Walkers, dogs on leash, and strollers are welcome; children 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the start or finish line.
