The Backpack Challenge Readathon takes place on August 1, 2026, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Participants read books individually or as part of organized book clubs, tracking reading minutes and competing on a leaderboard. The fundraiser supports sending backpacks filled with essential supplies to underprivileged students across the United States. Participants can share photos and engage with others through their book clubs.
