About the race
The race.
The Barrington 5K Run Festival takes place October 3, 2026, in Barrington, Rhode Island, featuring a 5K race, a 1-mile untimed kids fun run, and a 50-yard dash for children. The 5K offers $100 cash prizes for top male and female finishers, with commemorative T-shirts provided to all participants who register by September 12, 2026. Kids fun run participants who pre-register by the same deadline receive finisher medals. Bib pickup occurs at Barrington Christian Academy (9 Old County Rd) on Friday, October 2 from 4:00–6:00 PM or race morning from 7:30–8:15 AM. A Fall Festival follows the race with seasonal activities and food.
