About the race
The race.
The Battle Creek Patriot Run takes place October 11, 2026, on the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek, Michigan. Participants can choose a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) or 10K run (6.2 miles), with a new handcycle/wheelchair category added for 2026. Both races start at 8:00 a.m., with packet pickup beginning at 7:00 a.m. All finishers receive a t-shirt (guaranteed through September 27) and medal. Overall winners in each distance and age group winners across multiple divisions earn medals. Proceeds benefit the 110th Wing Family Readiness Office. A virtual option is available, with shirts and medals mailed to participants who complete their distance during October.
