Beaver Tail Trail 4 Miler 2026

The race.

The Beaver Tail Trail 4-Miler takes place September 26, 2026, at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, Virginia, starting at 8:00 AM with check-in from 7:00 AM near the Welcome Center. The 4-mile course loops around Beaver Lake using fire roads and single-track trail. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 25, all day at =PR= Run & Walk, or race morning from 7:00–7:45 AM at the Visitors Center. Awards go to the top three overall finishers and age group winners; selected runners receive gift card giveaways. The race is part of the Chesterfield Outdoor Fest, which runs noon to 5:00 PM the same day, featuring a beer garden, live music, food trucks, and outdoor demonstrations. Parking is free as part of National Public Lands Day observance.
