About the race.

The Beaverhead Endurance Runs offers a 100K and 55K point-to-point races on July 11, 2026, starting near Salmon, Idaho. Both events follow the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and the Continental Divide, which marks the Idaho-Montana border. The 100K course departs from the official CDT at mile 49 and continues along the Continental Divide to mile 54 before descending to Bohannon Creek and the finish. The 55K begins near Lemhi Pass and covers the second half of the 100K course. Terrain includes climbs, descents, flats, and technical sections at high elevation. The 100K is a Western States 100 qualifier, and both distances qualify for Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.
