The race.
The Bedford County Recovery Series 5K takes place on August 15, 2026, at 8:00 AM in Bedford, PA, starting at the Bedford Elks grounds. Participants can choose between an easy flat trail or a more challenging Purple Trail, with the finish at the Omni Bedford Springs Hotel area. This untimed event welcomes walkers, joggers, and runners of all fitness levels. All proceeds support recovery programs in Bedford County assisting individuals and families affected by substance addiction. Finishers receive a swag bag and trucker hat. Day-of registration by check or cash is available, and a silent auction will be held.
