Beer Mile North American Classic Presented by Urban Chestnut Brewing Company 2026

The race.

On July 11, 2026, the Beer Mile North American Classic takes place in Saint Louis, Missouri, featuring a 1-mile beer mile and an Elite Beer Mile competition. The course runs on Manchester Avenue in The Grove, with a 400-meter loop configuration on an out-and-back street course. Runners complete four laps while consuming four 12-ounce beers (minimum 5.0% ABV) in designated transition zones. Open heats run from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., with the Elite Heat at 8:30 p.m. featuring 25–30 top competitors. Registration includes four cans of Urban Chestnut Zwickel, a koozie or t-shirt, timing, race photos, and access to the Fifth Lap Spectator Headquarters. Packet pickup occurs Friday, July 10 from noon to 6 p.m., or Saturday from 4 p.m. onward. Participants must be 21 years or older with valid identification. Non-alcoholic beer options are available.
