About the race
The race.
The Belchertown First Responders 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Belchertown, MA. Registration opens at 10:00 am with the race starting at 11:30 am. Participants can choose between a 5K run or 1-mile walk. Entry is $30 for early registration (through May 31), $35 for June 1 through August 21, and $40 day-of for runners; walkers pay $25 in advance or $30 day-of. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and medal (guaranteed for those registered by July 25). Runners age 21 and older receive a complimentary post-race beer. Proceeds benefit the Belchertown Police Officers' Association and Belchertown Firefighters' Association.
