Big Babies 5K 2026

The race.

The Big Babies 5K run/walk takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in East Lansing, Michigan, benefiting medical care for newborn large animals at MSU's Veterinary Medical Center and veterinary student training. Registration costs $30 through August 28 ($35 after), with MSU student pricing at $25 ($30 after), family packages available, and onsite registration at $40. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 11 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Large Animal Clinic Office, Bogue Street entrance, or race morning from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Conrad start area. Finishers receive t-shirts (guaranteed through August 28), and medals are awarded to overall top male and female finishers plus first and second place winners in age groups spanning 10-and-under through 71-and-over. The course is chip-timed by the Michigan Running Foundation with live results available during the race.
