Big Bang Mile and Science Festival 2026

The race.

The Shore Athletic Club hosts the Big Bang Mile on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ. This one-mile race features multiple age-group waves including Masters Women (ages 40–49), Masters Women (ages 50+), and Masters Men (ages 50–59), along with Open, High School, Middle School, youth, and community divisions. Bib and t-shirt pickup begins at 7:00 AM, with race waves starting at 8:15 AM and continuing through mid-morning, concluding with an awards ceremony at 11:15 AM. Registration requires completion by July 11 to receive a personalized race bib. An optional event t-shirt is available for $12. For each Community and Youth Mile entry, $3 is donated to the Holmdel Youth Activities Association; team entries in designated categories contribute $10 per team to the same charity.
