Bigfoot Dash 5K 2026

The race.

The Bigfoot Dash 5K takes place on August 29, 2026, in Marion, NC, starting at 8:00 AM from Marion Elementary School. The 5K route runs through Marion streets including Robert, McDowell, Woodland Drive, Pineview, Clay, Greenlee, Euclid, Tremont, Alabama, Peavine Trail, and State streets before returning to the school. All finishers receive a race t-shirt and medal; shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by July 15. Packet pickup occurs August 28 from 5:00–7:00 PM or race morning at 7:00 AM at Marion Elementary School. Awards go to the top 3 males and females overall and top 3 finishers in ten age groups ranging from 0–5 through 70–79. Race proceeds benefit Marion Elementary School's general fund.
