About the race
The race.
The Birds of a Feather Trail Trot takes place on November 26, 2026, at Briar Chapel in Chapel Hill, NC. Participants can choose from a 2-mile paved and trail course, a 5K with roots and rocks, or a 10K with rolling hills. An untimed 2-mile option is available. Following the run, finishers receive pie, and a free kids race for ages 11 and under is offered. An awards ceremony with contests and giveaways concludes the event.
