Blackacre Barnstormer 2026

The race.

The Blackacre Barnstormer is an 8-mile and 4-mile trail race held on August 30, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky, benefiting Blackacre Conservancy. The race starts near the Tyler Homestead and Historic Barn, with the 4-mile course finishing at an arch and the 8-mile course completing an additional loop. The course traverses fields and trails through Blackacre Nature Preserve, including the Sunrise Meadow, Waterfall, Cattail Pond, and Sunset trails. All finishers receive a medal. Race shirts are available as an optional $5 add-on, with pre-orders due two weeks before the event. Post-race refreshments include ice cream cups and pre-packaged snacks. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in each race distance. Packet pickup occurs on-site race day. The event is cupless; bring your own water bottle or hydration pack.
