The Bob Alvarez Run For Your Health Prediction 5K and the Lyle Smith Fun Runs take place on September 26, 2026, in Sherwood, Ohio, benefiting Fairview Elementary's running club and a reading award program. The 5K starts at 6:45 p.m. from Fairview Elementary School on a flat course, with a one-mile fun run beginning at 8:15 p.m. and a half-mile fun run for second grade and younger at 8:00 p.m., both from the school's side parking lot. Registration costs $15 for the 5K with a t-shirt or $10 without; fun runs are $12 with a shirt or $7 without, with discounts available for pre-registration.
