The race.
The Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon takes place August 16, 2026, in Maple Grove, Minnesota, featuring a 26.2-mile full marathon and 13.1-mile half marathon. Both races loop around Fernbrook Elementary School on a flat, one-mile certified course. The full marathon is USATF certified and eligible for Boston Marathon qualification. Participants receive race shirts and finisher medals, with awards given in five-year age groups. Water and electrolyte drinks are provided at aid tables, and runners may bring personalized support items. The event accommodates a maximum of 75 participants and welcomes cheer crews to support runners throughout the race.
