Brat Trot 5k 2026

The race.

The Brat Trot 5K takes place October 10, 2026, in Terre Haute, Indiana, hosted by Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. Participants can choose between a standard 5K, a Beer Challenge 5K (requiring age 21+), or a 1-mile fun run. The Beer Challenge involves three 1-mile loops through the brewing district with beer consumption at each lap; the standard 5K covers the same 3-loop course without beer. Packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m., with the standard 5K starting at 9:00 a.m., the fun run at 9:01 a.m., and the Beer Challenge at 10:00 a.m. All participants receive a race shirt (guaranteed with registration by October 5), custom bib, one free post-race beer (21+), one free brat, and post-race refreshments. Awards include beer steins for top-three overall finishers in each race and bottle openers for top-three age-group finishers by gender. Parking is available at the Vigo County Library lot.
