BridgeTogether for Autism 5K 2026

Come join us for the BridgeTogether for Autism Foundation 5K, where we walk, run and unite to support children with autism in our community!

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to hit the pavement as we kick off the inaugural BridgeTogether Foundation 5K and raise funds for summer programming for autistic children.

With a growing need to have accessibility to inclusive and supported summer camps, your participation in this event will help us bridge the gap in offerings for neurodivergent children to learn and have fun on their summer breaks in the form of mini camps with their BridgeBuddies.

This event will kick off at 7075 Veterans Blvd in Burr Ridge, so mark your calendars and spread the word as we run (or walk) the 5K and then celebrate with live music, food and community engagement.

Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or a family looking for a meaningful morning out, your participation bridges the gap and helps a neurodivergent child connect, learn, and thrive.

Race tickets are $40 for adults $25 for kids 7-17 years old, and include;

Commemorative tshirt and racing bib Finisher medal for the first 100 finishers Choice of FREE BEEF or FREE ICE CREAM FOR A YEAR with Buona or Rainbow cone for first finisher in each division (Ages 6-12, 13-17, 18+) Pre-race snacks sponsored by Chick-fil-A & Dunkin Post-race Buona Beef sandwich or Rainbow Cone ice cream Live music and photo opps Family friendly fun!

9AM: Meet at Buona Companies Parking lot for check-in and pre-race celebration.

10AM: Shotgun start

11AM: Post race celebration with Buona and Rainbow Cone
