About the race
The race.
The Broad River Half Marathon takes place on November 21, 2026, at Harbison State Forest in Columbia, SC (5600 Broad River Road). The race starts at 8:30 AM with packet pickup beginning at 7:00 AM at the gazebo near the Start/Finish area. The half-marathon course winds through the forest on marked trails with three aid stations located at mile 4.8, mile 11, and the Start/Finish line, offering water, Coke, ginger ale, and snacks including pickles, cookies, chips, and candy. Runners should bring their own hydration flask or cup. A post-race Thanksgiving-style Southern meal is provided after the event. Drop bags and small personal tents are permitted near the Start/Finish area.
