Brunswick Fire Foundation 911 Memorial Stair Climb 2026

The race.

Participants climb 120 flights of stairs at Glynn Stadium in Brunswick, Georgia, on September 12, 2026, to honor the 343 firefighters who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks. The event recreates the stair climb that FDNY firefighters undertook during the Twin Towers rescue effort. Climbers may participate individually, as part of a 5-person team, or accompanied by a local firefighter. Some area firefighters will complete the climb in full gear. Proceeds benefit the Brunswick Fire Foundation and the Brunswick City Fire Fighters.
