Buffalo Bicycle Classic 2026

The race.

The Buffalo Bicycle Classic takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Boulder, Colorado, offering nine ride distances ranging from 14 miles to 100 miles on road and gravel courses. Participants can choose from multiple options including a 14-mile family-friendly route on car-free bike paths, moderate rolling road routes, challenging road climbs, and gravel courses of varying difficulty. Epic course riders experience a car-free closure of Boulder Canyon westbound from 7–9 a.m. Registration supports the BBC Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to Colorado students attending CU Boulder; participants can also fundraise for additional impact. Since its inception in 2003, the event has raised over $4.3 million for scholarships benefiting more than 450 students.
