The race.
The Bushwick 5K takes place on September 12, 2026, in Brooklyn, NY, hosted at Evergreen Baptist Church. This 5K run welcomes competitive and recreational runners as well as walkers of all experience levels. Timing is handled through the Webscorer App. Proceeds benefit the Bushwick 5K Scholarship, which supports graduating high school students who live in or attend school in Bushwick; over $3,000 has been awarded to date. The event is part of a broader community initiative called "Sponsoring A Healthy Bushwick.
